MDF FITTED WARDROBES
Using factory produced components and doors, in trying to plan a wardrobe to fit a certain space, constrains one to using the fixed module and door sizes supplied. One of the advantages of these custom MDF wardrobes, is that the units can be sized to fit the available space, and the doors can be made any width up to 600mm wide, to match the wardrobe unit sizes.
The general wardrobe specifications are as follows:
- Wardrobe units constructed from 18mm MDF, with visible cut edges sanded, and arris removed.
- Wardrobe units are on adjustable feet for levelling purposes, have a recessed plynth, and are securely fixed to wall.
- Hanging rails are 25mm chrome finished.
- Where necessary, cover molds to be fitted at wall to wardrobe conjunction: to allow for deviation from the vertical, and inequalities in wall surfaces. Decorators caulk may also be applied to seal wardrobe to wall/ceiling joints.
- Wardrobe doors are 25mm thick, Shaker style, recessed panelled with external molded edges, hung on self-closing hinges and fitted with proprietry wooden knobs.
